World Turtle Day was established in 1990 by the American turtle rescue organization. Every year on May 23rd, we celebrate World Turtle Day to raising awareness and to know better about the turtles. Why? That’s because the concerning problems we have to face together.

First, turtle population in the wild are being threatened due to the amount of plastic garbage and polluted habitats. Unfortunately, many people are still not aware of the cause of throwing plastic waste into the sea.

Moreover, it can threaten the stability of the environment because turtles can help spread various seeds that are important to plants. If that’s happen, it will be really a worst things for our planet and nature!
