Sandiaga Uno attending IAAPA APAC Summit 2024

Gianyar, Bali – Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, emphasized that the IAAPA APAC Spring Summit 2024 in Bali could serve as a catalyst for advancing safety education in recreational parks.

The international forum aims to bolster education on safety, operational standards, and sustainability within the attractions industry, providing valuable insights and resources for its members.

“Last year, Indonesia welcomed over 5 million tourists. This year, we aim for 20-50% growth, targeting 7 million tourists. Collaborating with partners like Hans Manansang to expand attractions, prioritizing safety and environmental sustainability.”

During the event, Sandiaga also expressed appreciation for Taman Safari Bali’s newest attraction, Varuna – Indonesia’s inaugural underwater theatrical show. This addition significantly contributes to Bali’s tourism, capturing international attention.
