Africa is the second largest continent after Asia and is home to a number of wild animals. African habitat ranges from rainforests to savannas and deserts, and its animals vary according to its landscapes.
Rhinoceros, zebras, lions, giraffes, elephants, and tigers can be found in the wilderness of Africa. However, if you want to see these amazing animals, there’s no need to travel to Africa. Simply visit Bali Safari Park in Gianyar, Bali.
犀牛
犀牛 are one of the largest herbivores that weigh up to 1,000kg. There are 5 different species of rhinoceros – the Sumatran rhino, the Javan rhino, the black rhino, the greater one-horned rhino, and the white rhino – and they can all be found in Africa, India, and Indonesia. Unfortunately, only the Javan rhino is left in Indonesia, while their Vietnam species are extinct.
Zebra
Recognized for its pretty black and white stripes, this African wild horse, called a zebra, has many more interesting features. For example, underneath its black and white coat, a zebra actually has black skin covering its body.
Giraffe
Being the tallest mammal in the whole world, a giraffe’s legs alone are in fact taller than most humans. With its long legs, giraffes can run up to 35 miles per hour! Get a chance to feed them directly from your hands when you visit Bali Safari Park.
大象
Although one of the largest land mammals, elephants are harmless. They are known to be one of the gentlest mammals, making strong bonds with humans. This is probably supported by their fascinating long-term memory. Elephants are able to recognize humans they have interacted with in the past, such as caretakers, zoologists, and scientists.
虎队
The biggest of the cat family, tigers can weigh up to 300kg and reach up to 3.3 meters in length. 虎队 are solitary animals and are very territorial. They only meet up during mating season, normally from November to April.
狮子会
Despite being called the King of the Jungle, lions are normally found roaming on grasslands and the savannah. Unfortunately, due to habitat loss, lions can now only be found in protected parks, including at Bali Safari Park.
Make the most out of your time at Bali Safari Park by enjoying an unforgettable dining experience with the lions! Get your Breakfast with the Lions ticket to experience a close encounter with the wildlife to start your day.
