Tri Hita Karana, an Exceptional Achievement |
November 26, 2011, Hans Manansang General Manager Bali Safari & Marine Park received Tri Hita Karana Gold Medal in category Recreational Parks/Eco-tourism objects/Resort and Tourism Attractions and special retreats.
Tri Hita Karana is the life concept of the Balinese community in accomplishing secular and spiritual bliss through harmonization of the relationship between humans and God (parhyangan), human and human (pawongan), human and environment (palemahan) into and integral unity.
As Indonesia Leading Amusement Park 2011/2012, Bali Safari & Marine Park has already been hailed as one of Bali’s most fascinating and world class attractions. Home of animals from Indonesia, India and Africa; it’s the park for leisure and learning. Bali Safari & Marine Park owned by the world renowned Taman Safari Indonesia, a name known for both its creative animal exhibits and its tireless conservation work. The warm welcome of Balinese culture and the adventurous African savannah blend into 40 hectare of forest in the coastline of Gianyar. The park had been awarded as Best Conservation Institution in 2010 from the Directorate General of Forest Protection and Nature Conservation and also won Sapta Pesona 2011 with the cleanest zoo toilet in Indonesia.
